# Block Chip Damage

## Guide

Every combat style has a ‘Block Chip Percentage’ via the `Guard Pierce` perk.

- This controls how much damage your attack does on somebody that blocked the attack.
- There is **NO DAMAGE** done if the attack is parried.

For example, if my style has `Guard Pierce I: 10% block chip damage`, a blocked attack that normally does `5 DMG` will only do `0.5 DMG`. However, If I had a style with `Guard Pierce IV: 25% block chip damage`, then it would do `1.25 DMG` instead.

`Guard Pierce`:

- Guard Pierce I: 10% Block Chip Damage (N/A)

- Guard Pierce IV: 25% Block Chip Damage (N/A)
