Posture / Stamina
Posture = Stamina | Movement uses it for sprinting (how long you can run) , combat uses it for blocking (how many attacks can be blocked before you are guardbroken), in addition Sprinting & Blocking hits both drain posture.
- Posture:
Prevents passive play, blocking an attack will take your posture instead of your HP (not including chip damage). A non displayed meter, if depleted will not allow the user to block the next attack. Getting hit with depleted posture will trigger a “Guard break” which stuns the defender giving the opponent an opening to attack. - Stamina:
To prevent infinite running just like posture it is an non displayed meter, when depleted will not allow the user to sprint.
Posture is NOT needed to perfect block (parry)
Combat style perks that affect posture:
Crushing Force I : +10% posture damage on every hit. (Kickboxing)
- Swift Recovery: +15% posture regen. (Basic)
- Steady Nerves: +25% posture regen for 3s after a parry (Karate)
- Balanced Strike: Landing an M2 refunds 25% of your max posture. (Karate)
Attack Buffs:
- Disorientating: M2s halt victims posture regen for 3s. (Muay Thai)
