Part of How to Fight

Block Chip Damage
Every combat style has a ‘Block Chip Percentage’ via the Guard Pierce perk.
- This controls how much damage your attack does on somebody that blocked the attack.
- There is NO DAMAGE done if the attack is parried.
For example, if my style has Guard Pierce I: 10% block chip damage, a blocked attack that normally does 5 DMG will only do 0.5 DMG. However, If I had a style with Guard Pierce IV: 25% block chip damage, then it would do 1.25 DMG instead.
Guard Pierce:
- Guard Pierce I: 10% Block Chip Damage (N/A)
- Guard Pierce II: 15% Block Chip Damage (Hakari, Karate)
- Guard Pierce III: 20% Block Chip Damage (Boxing, Kickboxing, Ali)
- Guard Pierce IV: 25% Block Chip Damage (N/A)
- Guard Pierce V: 30% Block Chip Damage (Muay Thai,Kyokushin Karate)
